Nepal contains large number of commercially valuable medicinal herbs that need to be explored and use properly. Some of the herbs are locally used based on Ayurvedic systems and still large number of such herbs yet to be identified their importance. Those herbs which are being used until today need to be utilized properly with their consecutive growth in the similar altitude and /or at same place which can not only develop the understanding about their importance to the local community but also develop the skilled manpower for particular work in the local community. The research carried out to the low land area of Nepal emphasized the proper use and preservation of essential oil producing natural herbs in bioprospecting approach that can stop their extinction and help the local community to encourage their conservation and proper utilization for their own economic growth.
