Sunil Pokhrel is a freelance instructional designer and curriculum expert with extensive experience in empowering educators to integrate innovative pedagogies into their teaching practices. He has developed and delivered numerous impactful training programs, including a recent initiative for the faculty of Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Science and Technology, aimed at enhancing the quality of assessment and evaluation standards. Currently, he is collaborating with experts from the Gandaki Physical Society on “Quantum Physics on the Trail”, a program designed to celebrate the UN-declared Quantum Physics Year 2025. He has been part of the RIBB-organized conferences and Science Workshops for school-level students and teachers since 2024.
Sunil holds a doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Science Education from Clemson University. His work is rooted in a commitment to advancing science education in Nepal, emphasizing the integration of locally relevant pedagogies and indigenous knowledge. Sunil lives in Lalitpur, Nepal, with his wife, two children, and mother.
