Dr. Anusha Balla is a researcher with a strong background in drug delivery and pharmacokinetic studies. She earned her MSc degree in Pharmacy at Gachon University, South Korea in 2017, and earned her PhD degree in Drug research at the University of Eastern Finland, Finland in 2023 as a Marie Curie Doctoral fellow. She also worked as Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Eastern Finland. Her research focused on novel therapeutics for anterior segment diseases such as dry eye disease, and corneal wound. She has expertise in cell culture, ex vivo tissue models, and in vivo animal studies.

Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at CiST College, Nepal. Her research interests include pharmacokinetics studies, novel drug development, and drug safety and efficacy studies. She has published 9 research articles and reviewed several research articles in high-impact factor peer-reviewed international journals. Along her academic journey, she has received multiple research grants. She also has industrial experience.
