Chaturaka Rodrigo is a Senior Lecturer in Pathology at the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. He graduated with MBBS (First Class Hons.) in 2006 and completed postgraduate studies in Internal Medicine (MD) in 2013 from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. He completed a PhD in Immunovirology at UNSW in 2017 and was elected as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), London, UK in 2022. His research portfolio extends from basic laboratory research to clinical research and translation, and evidence synthesis to improve the diagnosis and treatment of tropical infections.
