Sishir Gautam is working at Biophotonics Department at Phutung Research Institute (PRI), Nepal. He has been working for 2 years in developing a fluorometer for assessing water quality. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from SANN International College, Purbanchal University in 2015 with a research component focused on studying APO E gene polymorphism. He earned his Master’s degree in Biotechnology from central Department of Biotechnology, Tribhuvan University. He received a University Grant Commission (UGC) master research grant for studying immune response against dengue virus during the 2019 dengue outbreak in Nepal.
