Anusa Thapa, PhD did her doctoral studies in Biochemistry at the University of Virginia. She was an undergraduate research fellow in Mayo Clinic, Immunology department. She worked in Biovac Nepal Pvt Ltd, a startup vaccine research and development company. She is currently working at Phutung Research Institute in the Metalens project to develop a handheld fluorometer to detect Tryptophan-like Fluorescence (TLF) in drinking water.
