Md. Safiqul Islam is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Dhaka. He obtained his MSc and BSc degrees from the University of Dhaka in 2007 and 2009 respectively. In 2010, he was appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Dhaka. In 2013, he moved to the United States to pursue his higher education. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Auburn University in 2018 and subsequently engaged in a brief postdoctoral position at the University of Notre Dame. He is actively involved in supervising the thesis works of MSc and BSc students.
