Dr Balram Ambade is a Professor of Atmospheric Science and Water Research at the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India. His research focuses on environmental science, atmospheric chemistry, emerging contaminants, and remediation of contaminated soils. He is internationally recognized for his work in Environmental Chemistry, Atmospheric Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Dr Ambade has published over 77 research papers and has an h-index of 25. He has also authored four books and numerous book chapters. He serves as a Lead Guest Editor and Guest Editor for several scientific journals and is a member of various editorial boards. He has organized special symposia at international conferences and has been invited as a speaker at many conferences. He has also secured funding for six research projects from national and international funding agencies.
